Going a bit crazy looking for a smaller ( 30"-40", + or - ) HDTV. Saw many TV's, Toshiba, Hitachi, etc. Wasn't too impressed other than the following TV's that I thought had the closest "through-a-window" type of quality HD picture (if that's possible from a smaller size HDTV)

Panny 34wx50

Sony 51hw40 (would like to see the 43ht20)

Problem is most of the stores don't give a damn how these TV's picture's are set. Bunch of noise and other horrendous artifacts on these TV's. The Sony was set up pretty nicely, though. But too big for the bedroom that it's going in. I'm curious how the 43" version of this Sony model w/ DRC Mulitifunction, etc. looks. Also wondering if the claimed "6 times normal resolution from analog TV" is true and accurate or just Sony hype.

The Panny 34wx50 looked like it had potential, but the picture looked like it was connected to a rabbit-ears antenna. Not really, but horrible. But I could see that this TV was of high quality.

Suggestions, advice please? Thanks guys!
