I am in the process of setting up my stereo and speaker system...I am not sure if I want to buy a theater in the box system, a 2.1 system..or create my own 5.1 setup...please help. I have budgeted 1,000-1,500 for amp and speakers..I primarily listen to cd's and radio...I do not have room to mount rear speakers at the moment)...I would like to also hook my tv up to this system. I plan to add a blu-ray player down the road.


I am looking for a setup where I can add 2-3 HDMI pieces (Blu Ray, Cable, 1 - 2 extra)...need ipod connection...


keeping my budget in mind...could you please provide me with your recommendations? Thanks.
