I am setting up some very basic systems for a school - several classrooms that will have 2 ceiling mount speakers and projectors (hdmi).
The goal is to simplify cabling as much as possible and stick with HDMI of course - I just need 2-3 HDMI in, and it must be HDMI repeater mode - the audio must be caught by the receiver (duh!).
Does anyone know of a low end receiver that meets this need? I am not against refurb, for instance I have found some very impressive receivers from Onkyo for less than $200 - but they are HDMI pass through only.
