Need cheep sub.
I just got an onkyo receiver for x-mas. Now I need to get a sub. As of now I have a logitech z-5500. I know that the sub from that is really not that good. I am looking for something cheep but is also better then the logitech sub. I mostly play video games and watch movies. I am in college now so my income is limited. I am currently looking at the psw10 because I can get it for under 120 shipped. What other options do I have. I am going to use the little logitech speakers till summer when I can afford to upgrade. I am not really looking for 25 hz at 100 db performance here. Thanks for the help.

505s I wanted that one. The only difference between the 505 and the 506 was an extra hdmi port.

$100 for the 8" or $150 for the 10". These are rebranded Energy ESW-8/ESW-10 subs.
You can buy the Energy equivalents on Amazon for about the same money as well.

I have 2 Yamaha YST SW012 10" subs for my home theater -12X13X9 with 80" wide screen. I'm extremely pleased with these $60 subs which makes me ask why would I want to spend even more money for more realistic gunshots, car crashes and nuclear explosions when these subs already make me want to dive under the couch?
Consider yourself blessed. I wish I could find $60 subs satisfying.

I just bought an ASW-10. I guess we are going to see how it is when I get it next week.
Cheep?? Apparently spelling is not a required skill in some colleges.
