need dwin ld-1 ld-2 remote

Have you checked with Dwin to see if they can sell you a new one? They used a older model Zenith universal remote with these line doublers. If you can't find one, then I could probably help you out by programming one of the One-for-All universal learning remotes (e.g., Cinema 7) for use the Dwin line doubler. I have done this for operating my LD1 as well as the other home theater equipment in one of my systems.


If you happen to have a Philips Pronto remote then the codes for the Dwin could simply be downloaded.

i emailed them last week and havnt heard anything back. i have a learning remote that came with my denon, but need an original to program it. might have to look into a pronto. thanks for the input, ken

I have an LD-1 or 2 processor and remote (I'm out of town now and don't remember which one). If you can't locate one I could lend you mine so you could program a learning remote.


BTW, I would like to sell my unit (was working fine when I upgraded my projector) if you know of anyone interested.

is yours a LD-1 or 2? it seems the remote is in fact a allegro 400 or 500 also branded as zenith. i talked to dwin ( they never answered the email i sent ) and they say the code for the ld-1 or 2 is 133. the only info i found on a allegro/zenith was at remotecentral.com and it looked like thier codes are the same as several cheap tvs, so i attempted to use a newer RCA and prorammed it to all codes that matched the tvs listed for 133 on RC.com and no dice. Hi kenolle,I have a new Gemini universal remote on hand that I purchased several years ago before selling my LD-2 because it seemed identical to the supplied remote,I think I programmed it to the LD-2 using learning mode but I cannot remember maybe I put it in Auxiliary mode.E mail me at [email protected] and send me your address and I will mail it off to you for testing.If you find that it works for you it is yours for the postage.
