Does anyone know of a way (probably a hack) to get the Pronto Neo's back-light to come on whenever you touch the screen (and not when you press the hard buttons)?

Hold the mode button down until you get into the mode setting menu. Hit the Setup button and then hold down the "+" backlight until you see 'On' in the setting window.

Then adjust your LCD setting to whatever you want.

Now everytime you hit the screen the backlight will stay on with the display. It will all go off with the LCD timing setting.

Yea, I know. But the light comes on when you hit either the screen or any of the hard buttons. The wish is for it to come on only when you touch the screen and not when you hit a hard button.....

There's a hardbutton backlight timeout setting in NeoHacker that may help you. I haven't tried it, so I don't know for sure. If you don't have NeoHacker, you can get it here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=46180
