That downloaded code set from the Anthem site sure saves a lot of trouble. But have any of you Anthem pre-pro users with a Pronto found a good way to program the Pronto to access the Setup menu?

Thanks!!

I have a TSU-7000 and AVM-30. You can use the page layouts from what is available to download from the website (Anthem has one online), but I couldn't get the codes in the PCF file to actually work, so I had to re-learn almost all of them. It has been a little buggy trying to learn the codes too, but not sure why.

I ended up redesigning the whole interface for the AVM-30 within Photoshop and reprogramming much of it, but I'm not done yet. And with a 8-week old at home, it isn't the top priority. The hardest thing with programming the remote is that each action is not a discrete code, and that what action is taken depends on what menu you are on. I guess there would be too many codes to make them discrete, but if your page gets off from you're menu on the system, you try to change an input and something else happens.

Email me at [email protected] and I would be happy to share what I have to date with you. Hope some of this helps.

Thanks for the info. I will probably email you for a little more detail. I too am working with the TSU-7000, and developing a custom interface. It is disappointing to hear that the downloaded code set does not work well. I have not heard of a discrete code set for Anthem--has anyone out there???

Anthem has discrete codes for and off and on. Other than that they have direct inputs, and the vol+- on the website works great and learning the volume stinks.

Other than that, they have "shortcuts" for modes. Like pressing mode 1-2-3 turns on Stereo Direct (I made that shortcut up but you get the gist).

I made a bunch of pages that do the shortcuts so I dont have to go through those stupid menus.

EVerything else I had to learn. BTW I have a TSU6000

Fitsman--have you been able to create any repeating codes such as would work to enter the Setup menu on the Anthem, that would require a 3 second hold on the OEM remote? Suggestions as to intervals for repeating?

Thanks!
