need a prepro, but not hdmi....which is best for HT:

ARCAM AV9

LEXICON MC-12 (without eq)

DENON 3808 (receiver)

Are you interested in room correction? Do you not need HDMI becuase you are not getting into blu ray?

My vote goes to the Arcam AV9.
