Need help building cables for Play Station

Anyone who could led their ideas/expertise would be greatly appreciated.

I want to be able have the ability to hook up my Play Station 2 to my theater system. My idea is to have a jack with the standard red/white RCA and Yellow video cable in my riser. I'd then run the cables from the riser to my equipment closet and to my receiver and projector. That way, when I wanted to, I could get the PlayStation out and simply plug it into the jacks there next to the seating area without worrying about trying to hook it up to the equipment each time. When its not in use, I could keep the video games out of sight.

However, I need to figure out how to build the cables. What type of cable should I use? Where is the best place to get it? Would I use a different type of cable for the composit video than for the red/white audio?

The cables would need to be about 25 feet long to go from the center of the riser to the equipment closet. Would a 25 foot run affect the quality?

I'm a bit of a novice at this, so the more detailed answers the better.

Thanks.
