Hey guys recently I have been tempted to go out and buy a new LCD Flat Screen for myself . Unfortunately my knowledge of TVs has become stale so I am reaching out for you guys for help. I'm thinking LCD over Plasma because of life span and what I will be using the TV for. The Screen will be used for Digital Cable use, PC Screen, Xbox 360 and perhaps a few more goodies on the way. Must have atleast 2 HDMI Inputs, 1 or 2 HD components, DVI would be nice but a VGA would be fine. The size I am looking for would be between 40-48inch and the TV with high res 480i/480p/720p/1080i/1080p and a Native Resolution of 1920 x 1080. My price range would be anywhere from 1000-1400 max looking more so in between the two. I am located in Canada so take that into consideration, I have come up with three here but I am open to suggestion because im not entirely sure what to look for.

One suggestion is to do a forum search on each of those sets so you can view lots of comments on performance and issues with each. That will help you narrow it down

Life span? Viera plasma panels are rated at like 100,000 hours.

like I said my knowledge is stale as far as TVs go. And I heard for setting up PC to LCD is better than plasma due to imgage burning
