Hi guys,

So here is a quick overview of my problem. I have a Synology Diskstation J411 with 12TB HD and i have a lot of 1080p MKV with dual audio. I have a 40" Samsung 3d Smart tv, and i can play all those mkv via DLNA without any issues. Now i bought a 55LM7600 and i am faced with a huge issue. When i play those mkv, the lg tv doesn't give the option to switch the audio language and the default language is not english. It is an issue that all LG tv has and it's such a piss off.

I need help picking a set-top box which can natively play MKV files from my NAS without doing any conversions. Also, it must be able to switch audio tracks. Could you please recommend a good box?

An alternate suggestion, if you don't want the other audio tracks, is to run the files through MKVExtractGUI and remove the unwanted audio tracks, so the default is the one you want.

The WDTV will switch audio tracks if you want to get a media streamer.

Thanks for your reply. I have about 400 mvk files, so i'm not sure how long it will take and whether the software can do a batch conversion. if it can do a quick conversion, then it would work for me.
