Need help connecting my TV/BD/HTIB
Hello and thanks for any help you can offer.
I would like to know how to put my components together so that I may enjoy surround sound from my Blue-Ray via my aging HTIB. Since I really don't know what I'm doing, please be as specific as possible regarding types of wires to be used - HDMI, optical... I have no interest in connecting the VCR through the HTIB - just the BD.

No HDMI, but it does have optical (if that matters),
