the Samsung is a joke compared to the st30...........if you have a problem with the st30 screen........wait until you see the glare from the Sammy....the Panasonic costs at least twice what the Sammy costs...not a fair comparison.

Ok, I bought a LG 42PT30 about six days ago and i am returning that set. I am not happy with the picture quality. The picture flashes almost like floating blacks and the black level was bad. I got all the eco modes, dynamic contrast, etc. off.
Anyway, i had the Panny 42ST30 and i wasn't too happy with the colors. But i am willing to give it another chance. I need your opinion fast about the Panny and Sammy. I sit about 9'ft away and watch daytime with blinds open, from my patio door. I only watch Directv HD. I got a quick question about the Panny.
1. When i had the Panny, i noticed when i would stand up, the picture would get darker, when looking down at it from the new antiglare filter.
Do any of you have that problem? Also, the antiglare filter would be grayish, like a flat black with lighting on, which i do watch in nightime with lights. Is that normal?
Let me know between these two. Thanks.
