Okay so I am going to be going with speakers that have built in passive subs. I will be bi-amping them. The problem is that I also want to still use my bass shakers, which require a line-level LFE. I know that I can use a FMOD crossover to get the LFE part, the problem is I need a way to combind mono the left and right channels without causing any problems in the rest of my system. Ideas?

Well, combining stereo channels in a mono could be done with a sum adapter. I would discourage the use of any tactile transducers for the LFE of a home theater. They just do not go as low as a conventional subwoofer. Lexicons latest and greatest (MC-12B) has outputs for a mono LFE and stereo subs. So they agree on it.
