Thanks for the advice, Don. But given that HD isn't that important to me (since I have my primary HD viewing in my home theater), is the Samsung the best option. In other words, is the Samsung a good quality TV (with the added extra of being HD), or, since HD isn't a must have, am I better off getting a different brand, with a better picture??

I love my CT-32SF35.

The later model CT-32SF37 is out there for under $800.

The current CT-32SX** series are out there for under $1K.

Or if in case you really did want to have an HD option, the CT-32HX41 can be found for under $1K or thereabouts.
