I have a room that is 12 by 15. I am installing a Projector 720p. I will have the following components. Blue Ray, Wii, Cable DVR, XBOX 360. I am on a pretty tight budget. But I have always said sound is what puts you in the mood. I guess do I need a switch or is their a reciever that will act as a switch and what is the best bang for my buck.

How large will your "screen" be when using your projector? If it's more than about 50"-55" you may want to consider going to a 1080p projector, because at that size you will be able to see a difference. It would especially be beneficial with blu-ray viewing.


As far as a receiver, Onkyo and Yamaha make excellent receivers for the money. I think the new 606 model by Onkyo would do everything you want. I'm sure Yamaha makes something equivalent, but I couldn't tell you the exact model.
