Need help on display decision

I have been tasked at work to purchase a wall mounted display that will be used to display mostly static information and connected via PC. The TV/monitor will be on for approx. 8 hours a day 5 days a week until the apocalypse or second comming. Whichever comes first.


We are looking to spend between 3-5K and hoping to get somewhere near a 40". The only thing we are interested in is a display thats looks good when connected to a PC (text, powerpoint, etc.)


Do you guys have any recomendations?

Seems like you want an LCD display as a plasma would burn out with statatic images after a while. Just browse the forum sponsors to see what you can find in that size. I would start with the Sharp 37".
