I have a sony 50we655 tv. I hooked up my pc to it via hdmi to dvi. I finally got the resolution to 1280 x 720 on my radeon 9700. The desktop is still like it is zoomed in and I notice that I can't pick normal on the wide screen options on tv. Anyone have any answers????

you will need to use powerstrip to get rid of the overscan

Got it fixed. Powerstrip was not needed. Had to adjust in service menu. Looks awsome now. THanks !!!!

Adjusting your service menu can void your warranty. If you ever had a problem with your set and you had to exchange it you will need to reset those values. If they test your set and find out you adjusted it they could say that you broke it. A safer bet is to use the ATI DVI to component adapter or an Nvidia card with Windows MCE. Here is how to use the ATI adapter.
