Happy New Year All. I'm still quite a newb with all this speaker stuff so I wanted to see if I could get some help with my setup.

In my home theater room, the previous owner installed some ceiling speakers which I think would work nicely for my rear surrounds. I just tested them out over the weekend and was amazed at how nice they sounded. The only caveat though is that the connections for the speaker wire were routed to a room all the way on the other side of my house (the living room). I think the old owner used the living room for his home theater which is why it was set up that way. In my living room, I also have a flat screen that I mounted above our fireplace.

So in summary, here is the setup I have:

Home Theater Room

- 65” DLP

- PS3

- HD DVR

- 2 Infinity P362

- 1 Infinity PC350 (to be ordered)

- 1 Pioneer 1018

- 2 in ceiling speakers – the speaker wire ends at the living room though

Living Room

- 42” LCD

- HD Satellite Receiver

- Another Receiver (to be ordered)

- Bookshelf Speakers (to be ordered)

Master Bedroom

- 2 In ceiling speakers – speaker wire ends at living room

I’d like to use the 2 in-ceiling speakers in the theater room with my pioneer 1018 to complete a 5.1 setup. However, I’d also like to use these speakers with the receiver in my living room so that I can play music throughout the house during parties.

Is this possible? I’ve read that the pioneer supports pre outs, but I’m not sure if this applies to my situation.

I hope it’s not too confusing. Any help is appreciated.
