I'm looking for the best LCD TV in the 32-37" range for my kitchen. I'll be sitting fairly close about 4-6 feet usually.


Budget is $1000 or so max, but would rather spend between $700-$900 if possible.

I should mention I am considering the Olevia 537H as I can snag one for $800 at a local retailer....

i have the Olevia and am happy with it. Right now it is the best buy for around $800. After the Superbowl, things may change.

Any of them can be had for around $1000 and all offer pretty good performance for the price. There are threads going for each set so I recommend checking them out before making your decision.

Are you sure the Sharp can be had for around $1000? Where did you get that information? I ask because after misinterpreting another thread I posted in a few different places that it was available for a very good price at Costco. I hope my posts aren't your source and that there actually is a place to get this set for around $1000.
