Need Help Outputting a DD 5.1 Signal...

On to my Panasonic s47 DVD Player(hooked up via optical cable). I have a SoundBlaster Audigy ZS(USB) with Klipsch Ultra 5.1 Speakers. However, no matter what setting I change, I only get 2 channels of sound. On my DVD player, it is set to accept PCM signals. I think I want bitstream, but when I change it to bitstream I get no sound at all. Can someone please help?

The issue is probably in your Audigy setup, beyond that I cant help. YOu are asking the Audigy to decode an external DD input, do they do that? I know that many of the earlier SBLive5.1 cards etc. did not do it for external digital inputs without the Live Drive option. DOnt know exactly how it works for the Audigy USB model
