Hey guys,

Im no wiz when it comes to tv's so im looking for support and input. I'am in the market for a new tv, i'm look from anywhere of a 39"-47" tv. I play cod on ps4 and im only now relizing the importance of an low input lag tv. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What's the lighting condition in your room? Would you have glare issues going with a Plasma? I'd get a 60" plasma in that budge. I'm sure you can go bigger than what you actually said

There's a lot light in the room. Its not a big room and I sit quite close to the TV approx (4ft)

ah, maybe not a plasma then. Hopefully some of the LCD experts can chime in.


60" at 4' might be a little to big.

I've read through some threads , and there's good hype about the vizio m series. Although theres people talking about the picture quality of the 40-47" tvs

If input lag is important to you, definitely look at a Sony. You may be able to get a 47W802A for close on the price you listed, if not, maybe the 50R550A.

That Sony model here in Canada is well over 1200$ sadly. What about this ?

I am in Canada and got the 55W802A for close on $1200 about 6 months ago, so you may be able to get the 47 inch for close to the price you mentioned... but probably still a bit more.


Is that Vizio the M series? If it is, it should have good input lag as well ( http://www.displaylag.com/display-database/ ). I do not have much experience with Vizio's though, but I have read that they do a pretty good display for the price. I would recommend going over to the LCD section and reading that particular Vizio's thread .

I don't mind paying a little more. Just all the future shops/ best buys and TV selling stores don't carry vizio for some reason. Thanks for the reply, very helpful
