Ya, you want it standing up, not laying down flat. Glass is heavy, and it could crack under it's own weight, let along hitting bumps for almost 200 miles. You see how the Glass trucks all are. From large panes of glass to windshields, all standing up. Same thing. The Tricky part is standing it up SAFELY, wrapped up, and so it doesn't fall over or against something. If it was me, I'd build a cheap wood case where I could mount it solid and strap the case down tight. 65" screen is not going to be very stable. Maybe if you have it wrapped good and large flat things on each side of it(Larger then the screen), and all if it strapped down tight from leaning left and right you would be good. That's a long drive with a large HDTV. Better safe then sorry.
