Apologies in advance if this topic has been beaten to death already, but I didn't see any threads devoted to this, so here goes....

I have had Verizon Fios for about 5 months now, and i'm just now getting around to trying to connect to my files on my home PC so that I can play the music / videos on my PS3 that are saved on my PC. I have googled and you tubed all the supposed things I need to but to no avail. For some reason I can't get this working.

I'm using WMP 11, and i'm turning on the file sharing option in the Library, however it's not detecting the PS3, and yes, the PS3 is turned on.

I'm not sure if there is some sort of handshaking issue or what, any help would be appreciated.

I'm running XP Home, and my PS3 connects wirelessly.
