Can anyone walk me through on how to set the speakers to "small" on my MRX 700 and the LFE to 120 Hz? I just upgraded to a bigger subwoofer and I am having a hard time navigating the menu. I already set the speakers crossover to 80Hz but don't know how to get to the menu to set the speakers to "small". Also, where do I go to find the LFE menu so that I can set it to 120Hz to benefit greater bass output. Thanks.

Anyone with any thoughts on how to get around this? Thank you all.

Hi hamptons,

Click on setup. Select Speaker Configuration, then select Bass Management. Under that you will see the configuration - Movie, then under that you see your connected speakers, depending on your speaker setup..

Example : Front - Small 80hz

Center - Small 80hz

surround Small 80hz

Aux Small 80hz

Subwoofer On

You can click on the individual speaker here and select the size. Look at page 15 of your user manual. Note. The subwoofer cannot be adjusted here, as the Anthem Arc controls its settings, crossovers filters, levels, etc. Do you have ARC (Anthem Room Correction enabled? As you have a new Subwoofer you or your Installer will have to run the ARC Calibration again. The new Subwoofer will have totally new characteristics than your previous one and will measure and interact in your room differently.

I am only on my "Trainer Wheels" myself in regard to the Anthem MRX700. There is a lot of excellent information in the Anthem MRX 300, 500, 700 tweaking guide. It is currently located on Page 2 of this section of the Forum.

Regards,

Juz

Thank you Juz for your help. I managed to set all the speakers to 80 hz but the display does not say small on any of them!!! Someone ran the ARC when I first bought the receiver about 3 years ago. I don't have a laptop with the 9 pin hole to re-run the ARC again. I am trying my best to tweak the system to optimize the best sound quality I can get out of it without re-running the ARC.
