I am moving to Sacramento from Davis, CA. I had DSL w/ SBC. The area I'm moving into has not yet laid the fiberoptic for SureWest cable internet. And I've heard that w/ SBC DSL you need to agree to a 1 year contract that must be at that residence. Well, I'm only moving in for about 3-7 months so don't want to get penalized for leaving.
What options do I have?
