I have the radio shack XVU190 connected on the first floor to a dish 6000 OTA module. I want to connect the same signal to another dish 6000 OTA module on the second floor. I need a splitter in combination with a CM pre-amp. I am getting the pre-amp because I am getting weak signals from CT (I live in NYC). I will point the antenna this way and I think I still might be able to get a signal from the ESB for the other channels. I think I have found a sweet spot but without the pre-amp, I do not think it will work. Anyone out there had any good experience with an OTA signal splitter in combination with the CM pre-amp.

Just make sure the splitter goes after the preamp power supply. ie closer to the TV

Would this scenario also work?

Coming from the antenna towards the TVs:

1. Antenna

2. Outside portion of pre-amp

3. Splitter.

4. 2 Coax cables leading to separate TVs.

Connect the power supply to the coax #1 inline near TV#1.

Connect coax #2 to the 2nd TV with an inline DC filter just before the 2nd TV.
