Need help with projector shelf

I'm not too knowledgeable on carpentry, etc. But I need help with finding a shelf that I can mount on my wall above my window that will shoot across the room onto my screen. I'm not worried about support b/c the way they built my window, above it there is multiple 2x4's stacked so I have plenty to secure a shelf to.

My projector is a Pany ae3000u so keep that in mind if you suggest a shelf. It's gotta fit

Thanks guys, this is one of the final peices of my home theatre build. My drywall is getting taped/mudded. Trim put up, paint and carpet and I'm done.

It looks like Lowes/Home Depot sell some decent looking shelves that I can just buy brackets to and mount it to the wall. But I'm looking for any other ideas!

I found this:

It almost right on in dimensions to fit it. Slightly smaller in width but it's big enough for the projector legs to sit on.
With a 15 lb load limit I am not overwhelmed with the rigidity of that shelf, nor would I put my projector investment on it.
Got any ideas on what I can try?
I can't visualize your space.

Can't you mount shelf mount vertical strips that allow shelf supports to be placed with a simple board across them to create a shelf? I have seen inexpensive metal vertical strips and more expensive ones.

Simple, inexpensive and have a more than adequate load handling capacity.
Here's what we used. It's not particularly attractive, but I painted them black and used a 2ft by 2ft piece of 1/2 inch plywood (also painted black) and it works fine.

Home Depot has super strong shelf brackets that support 500 lbs -

Rubbermaid Upright Shelving - http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...3+90401+529315

The vertical tracks come in short ( 24" ) - long ( 6' ) lengths, and everything in between. The shelf brackets themselves are extremely strong and come deep enough for me to mount my monster sized dVision 1080p dual lamp projector on it. Get some strong screws to match and you are set. Comes in white or black.
Could you guys possibly post some pictures of your setup so I can get an idea of how it looks?
possibly something like this? I"m not sure of it's dimensions though

Is this going to be large enough for the Panny to fit? The reason I ask is that I am looking to mount mine as well.
Yes the Panny is roughly 18.5 x 11.5 and this shelf is 21.5 x 18 inches and holds 30lbs (the panny is only 16lbs) so it looks to be just right

I'm glad I found this b/c I was going to have to build something myself and I'm not too good with that type of stuff :p
