I have a Sony Directv Tivo SAT-T160 using remote RM-Y809 and I just bought the Sony STR-DE895 receiver. I can't get the Tivo remote to control the volume in the receiver. I have tried all of the codes listed on the screen as per the manual but none of them work. Any suggestions?

You can do this two ways.


1.Change the codeset your receiver respond to, by following the directions here, then the codes in the tivo remote will work.


2. Or just teach the T60's remote the commands, see this thread.
