Hello all. I have 5-600 bucks to spend and a need to buy best speakers I can buy with that. I basically need 5.0 setup. fronts, rears and center. I am in a 14x11 room but would like a speaker that could go in a larger room if need be. Never know what future holds. But anyway I need speakers that can be mounted in the corners of the walls. I have a Yamaha RX-V677 receiver. I was looking at the Polk Audio TL250's and I found the 350s for around 600. But just wonder what everyone would recommend for my price range. Thank You!!!!!

Not sure what you mean by mounting them in corners. Bookshelf speakers should be mounted on stands away from the corners by a foot or more. For rear channels, sure, use wall mounting brackets near the corner). Anyway, here are three speakers that are within your budget (either get two pair and a matching center, or opt for less expensive rear speakers).

$225 / pair (includes shipping) EMP Tek R5Bi bookshelf speaker (formally E5Bi): http://emptek.com/r5bi.php (I own these)

$219 - $249 / pair (? shipping) HTD Level TWO bookshelf speaker: http://www.htd.com/Products/bookshelf-speakers/Level-TWO-Bookshelf-Speakers

$165 / pair (shipping extra) Philharmonic Audio Affordable Accuracy bookshelf speakers: http://philharmonicaudio.com/ and http://philharmonicaudio.com/aa.html

Note: All will need a subwoofer to round out the lower end.

Meaning I need to have them on wall mounts in the upper corners of my room or on the walls themselves. I can't have them on stands in corners because 3 of the corners of my room are taken including one of the corners being my door.

I noticed you are posting the same questions in two threads. Try to keep your questions in one thread, or post speaker questions in the speaker section and subwoofer questions in the subwoofer section. It gets really confusing to answer these questions appropriately and members usually do not want to jump from one thread to another. Add to that, you said you needed wall mount speakers high in the corner and can't use bookshelf speakers on stands, then you ask about a system with towers. You state your budget at $500 to $600 and then talk about a system costing $1200. No one knows what the heck is going on, or at least I don't. I think you need to sit back and reevaluate your wants and needs. Once you do that, we will be able to help you better.
