I just bought a Samsung HLS6187W from CC on the 1-15. My question is when the tv is on standby mode I hear a high pitch whine coming from the back ot the tv. When I unplug the tv it goes away. It only happens when the tv is off. I think the sound comes from where you plug the wire into the power supply, but not sure. I need to know if I need to take it back or if this is normal. Any help would be great.

Probably a bad power supply. Return it or have them fix it.
