I'm not sure where to ask this, so here goes. I have a vizio 1080p 42"/toshiba a30 hd-dvd/phillips 1080i dvd-r/and a samsung surround. How on earth do I hook all this up where everything will work right...lol. Help! I just got the hd cable box installed and the picture is great! Plenty of hd channels with the package for viewing. I also purchased the 4X1 Enhanced 1.3b Certified HDMI Switch with built-in Equalizer and Remote (REV.3.0) that just came out. I have plenty of hdmi cables so how does all this go together so that I can run the surround sound while watching tv/recording/ or just about anything? Do i just run everything into the switching box and let it do it's thing? Would the surround sound get the signal this way? I do have one specific question: Do hdmi cables work both ways? A two way street so to speak? Appreciate any help or diagrams for hooking this stuff up to the best advantage....thanks, gary.
