Hello

I am engineering a sports bar AV system and I was looking for a few ideas you may have. Our company is used to AV systems for conference rooms, so this needs a different configuration.

We are installing 40 Panasonic 58" plasmas. Wondering if this is a better than LCDs, they want a large screen.

Lots of Crestron to control the entire setup.

The audio system is where Im not sure what speakers would work or sound good. They want loud with lots of bass. We may go with Tannoy and Biamp amps.

We will also be incorporating a media server.

What ideas, tips, changes do you think we should go with?

Thanks

Anyone looking for a sports bar tv system should check out ReSwitch.com, they have a suburb system for way less then anyone else.

I've been shopping out a distro system for 50 TVs in a sports bar project. The best choice I've found so far is NeoPro's Tahoe system. This is analog component but not too worried about that since all the sources are sat receivers and have component too.

Anyone use this unit? Is it reliable? The price looks great.

Hi, that looks like a nice system but still more then double the cost of what Reswitch.com can do for you which also includes our Crestron Touch Panel control system. While our equipment is refurbished, we remanufacture it to specifications that will make it last 5 years or longer and we can provide the same 2 year full warranty as the Tahoe unit. The AMX/Autopatch switchers in our opinion are the best that can be bought and are also built in the USA. We have dozens of 50+ TV systems installed and can provide references if requested. Regards, J
