I've found the Sony SAT-A65 and RCA DRD485 & 486 have rf remotes. Does anybody know if these integrate the OTA channels & sat channels into the same guide? Also wondering if there are any other newer SD receivers that have rf remotes....

You can add to your list of SD Ir/RF remotes the Hughes GCAEBOA, however, all of the ones you listed and the Hughes have been discontinued for about 1 year and DIRECTV does not have any SD RF remote IRD's any longer.


The only current Ir/RF STB is the RCA HD DTC-210. The only way to make a SD STB's remote to work RF is to buy an RF sending unit like the RCA cones.

Thanks much for the info. I thought I read somewhere that the Hughes unit was same as the SAT-A65.

Sorry, they do not have an integrated OTA/Satellite APG. The DIRECTV RCA DTC-210 does integrate the OTA and satellite channels on it's APG.
