So here is my first column base and top. I had intended to Trim out a rectangle on the base in the face of it. But I am thinking I could use that space as trapping so I am thinking of cutting out a rectangle in the face about 4" in from each side. Then using a round over bit on my router and smoothing it out then attaching black GOM to the face then using trim to make a rectangle covering the edges of the GOM.
Question one! Is using it as a trap worth the extra effort?
Question two! What would some of the more experienced guys here do.
The Center section will be a rectangle frame covered in GOM hiding the speakers
to clairfy about my question is should I open the bottom of the column like this but a rectangle and use it for trapping. Will it be worth the effort The trim part I have figured out.
