Any recommendations for small LCD for kitchen to replace 12" crt TV on a lazy Susan?

Noticed no one answered your inquiry...we were also looking for a kitchen TV to replace our 13 inch sharp aquos


We bought the Samsung LN19B650 and could not be happier. Yes there are complaints about the speakers on the botton rear but after a few days we got use to the audio.


This is our first venture into HDTV even though the unit is only 720p. We are feeding it with a comcast cable through a Maggi 2160A DVR. The DVR has a great built-in amplifier for boosting signals.

Toshiba, i forgot what model it is but it's new. It looks nice and it's much cheaper than the Samsung.

I'll second the Toshiba, have one in my bathroom, 22", works great. Speakers are good too, you can hear them as they have plenty of oomph, can just hear it while showering, would work good in kitchen.

If you can find any KDL19L5000 or KDL22L5000s they have good sound.

Last years Toshiba 19 and 22 AV500 series as well as the DVD combo 505 series had good sound as well.


IMO all the 19" and 22" TVs have crap sound now including this years Sony and Toshiba. The LN19B650 is my favorite in terms of picture quality and style though.

Samsung LN19B650, a perfect TV for kitchen, guest room etc. Picture is great. The sound is little bit soft.
