Running the B&W HTM61's across the front and have lots of trouble dialing in the Center. Dialog in movies is difficult to clean up, sounds muted under most conditions. Just read a review on the HTM61, and they also comment on the trouble handling dialogue.

I like the HTM61's for the lefts and rights, as I don't have alot of room. Would there be another matching center anyone could recommend? I'l like to stay B&W.

Worst case, I can replace the entire RCL with free standing towers, but it would make the room look a bit odd. I'd still be in a bind for the center?

I'm at a point where I could sell the HTM and get my money back out of them, and start over. Sorta jumped into these on a whim.

Thoughts? Recommendations?

Look for a timbre-matched center with vertically-arrayed drivers, at least for the mid and HF. In addition, a very low crossover frequency between mid and woofer(s) is advantageous.
