I've been running these Polks for awhile now but they tend to overheat frequently. Could you recommend a receiver in a decent price range that will run these at all levels?

Are they overheating from clipping? What is the output of your current amp?I've been running these Polks for awhile now but they tend to overheat frequently. Could you recommend a receiver in a decent price range that will run these at all levels?
Rti8 towers. Csi3. Rti4 pair. Vsx-822 receiverI can't open your attachment. What speakers are they?
OK-can we assume you are cranking these quite loud? And that it's the receiverthat is overheating? This https://www.acinfinity.com helped a buddy out, auto-sensing speed. That's if it's an occasional problem. If this happens a lot, no receiver is gonna hack it, they ALL have compromised/limited power supplies, you need a more powerful power amp.Rti8 towers. Csi3.
