My room is 21' 4"L x 9' 6" W x 8' H


Would you build a wall across the width of the room to create a equipment room to house, well equipment and DVDs or would you leave that 3' or so open and just have the equipment exposed?

I have to agree with Ethan, your room dimensions are awful. A bit on the small size in the width. Plus, the overall volume is a small too. So, you really don't want to make it smaller. Well in regards to the remotes, I would simply employ the use of an IR repeater/blaster or an RF modulator. With the changing of media, I'm either going build a media server or get up and change the disc like I presently do.


Is there any suggestions to demensions that I could change?

Well thank you Ethan and Rutgar, I will have to deal with what I have until I'm able to build a truly dedicated room from scratch!


But, in the mean time I will try to fix what I have now!
