I'm getting ready to bust into the world of projectors. Research--from here and ProjectorCentral.com--has narrowed my choices to the Sanyo Z3, the InFocus 4805 or the Panasonic 700U. All have excellent reviews and huge cheering sections; any thoughts on which is the clear winner?


One more thing: I won't be installing until after moving into a new house in January. Perhaps something new/improved will come out if I wait?

Best to wait at least until you need one. Prices will likely come down slightly after X-mas and newer models will always be appearing. You should also look at the Sony HS51 which seems to be going to have a lower price than the former HS20 model.

I've narrowed down my choice many times. Each time with a new set of projectors. The IF4805 is now off my list given that 1024x576 with 5x wheel speeds have now come down into my price range.


I definately would not buy now to have it sit in a box for 3-4 months.
