How can i turn off the Video Upscaling on the receiver ?


*Can't find any info on it in the manual


Or maybe i just CAN'T ?


I think i have to run the HDMI right to the TV, then use optical cables to the speakers ? I'm really not sure....

What exactly are you trying to do? The above line makes no sense.


Why do you think you need to disable video upscaling?

Generally if you set the output of the AVR / Video Processor to the same as the source. Bingo you get no scale involved?


Have you been comparing and just feel there is some degredation to the video quality when passing through the AVR?

Well i just bought a Plasma TV and the lag is horrible, the guy at the store told me it was my receiver... so maybe if i can turn off some features and maybe the quality of the video will be better ?


I'm not sure what to do.
