Need rear surround speaker advice

Hi All,

First I just have to say this is a great forum and have found a lot of information.

Now I have Polk monitor 70's as my front speakers and the matching center channel. I have a pair of Athena WS-60's laying around that I havent used in a while, what do you think of using these as my rears? Has anyone used these as a rear? Any input would be great help.

Why not try them and see? How they sound to you is way more important than what anyone here can tell you.

They will work as surrounds - they are decent

+1 For the most part it's not that crucial that the surrounds exactly timbre-match the front LCR speakers.
