It was recommended to me that I should get a video processor with gamma adjustment to eliminate the black crush on my display.


I want HDMI connection and don't mind buying used.


I already have a DVDO HD+ and might be able to do an upgrade with DVDO to a model with gamma correction.


What would you recommend.

Lumagen HDP/HDP Pro/HDQ can give you full control over gamma at each point.

Crystalio II is supposed to support pretty much the same thing (haven't tried it).

The VP50 has gamma support, but it is limited to a numerical value (i.e., no control over each point).
