I would agree that Kenwood's have excellent SVHS switching. My KR-V9080 has 5 SVHS inputs and effectively 3 outputs and it's about the only thing that it does really well.
I'm looking for a low-end DD 5.1 receiver and may try to keep the Kenwood around just to handle my SVHS needs. The downside is that it uses a proprietary frequency for its IR commands and so no third-party remote will work with it...
