need replacement speaker for paradigm 11s

Hello, I have paradigm monitor 11s for my fronts and I also have a 3 year old.

Ok by now you guys know where this is going:(

I had the grills off for just a minute, and them 2 had a run in.

The little bubble on the speaker just to inviting, he couldn’t resist.

Anyhow he pushed it in it’s smashed in.

So I guess I need to replace that speaker.


So my question is, what do I replace it with?

Does it have to come from paradigm?

Where can I get it from?

I am asking because if I go to a paradigm dealer I am sure I will get soaked.


Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you mean that he pushed in the dust cover on the woofer? or that he actually put a hole through the speaker?


I have heard many speakers with pushed in dust covers, and have never heard a difference in sound quality. It is ugly, of course. I would not recommend replacing the woofer with anything other then a paradigm speaker as it would not match your other monitor 11 anymore if you just put an OEM driver as a replacement.
