Hi,

Can someone recommend a good scaler that can also convert 1080i into 720p. It would be also of advantage if it is not too expensive.

Unfortunately, not too expensive and scaling HD are kind of mutually exclusive. To get what you are looking for, you need to look at Key Digital or Faroudja. The new Asimilator will also do it I believe. Not sure about the CS1 or CS2.


If it is the Key or F, you are looking at around $4k.
