My XGA projector is rated at 2000 lumens(though one reviewer said that he measured only 1500 lumens).

Right now I'm running it of a smooth white wall from an HTPC and it looks great.

At this brightness would I want a white screen for color enhancements or maybe a grayish screen to improve blacks?

Actually I'm kind of in the dark on screen choices because other members mostly talk about screen choices for projectors with a much lower light output.

Any suggestions ?

I think with a 2000 lumen projector, you're a really good candidate for a gray screen, particularly if you use the PJ in high ambient light conditions.

There are lots of posts in this forum on how to make gray screens and on the various commercial gray screens out there, so I won't go into it here.
