Need small speakers for Pioneer Elite Plasma

Hi,

My family wants to buy the new pioneer elite receiver and plasma tv that comes out in July. We need two bookshelf speakers, a center and a small subwoofer. My dad doesn't want to spend more than 2000 dollars on speakers and the bookshelf speakers can't be more than 9 inches deep. Also, the center has to be small and no higher than 7 inches. We looked at B&W but their bookshelfs are too deep. Another place suggested bay audio. The speakers will be primarily used for home theater and TV. Suggestions are welcome!

It might be too low end for what you are looking for but there are speakers in the Intimus series from Aperion that meet the dimension requirements. It will free up more funds for the subwoofer, however.

If you want to go truly tiny, you can go http://www.orbaudio.com/ . However, I am not a huge fan of small satellite type systems.
