has anyone try this lens,I dont have a lot of money to spend on a 'real' lens and I would like to build one myself cheap with godd results

There is plenty of do it yourself sources and advice right on this forum I suggest you stick to that. Do some searches here and read through the back threads.

The best source of DIY for a lens is HERE . Whist you should start from page one and learn from the pioneers, the juicy stuff starts about page 60.

I made one much like that and it works great. Cost me $72 for the prisms

Update, they have actually trimmed down that long thread back to about 62 pages now...
