Greetings AVS'sers:

Well I made the plunge and purchased a house where I can put in a modest theater room. Dimensions are 13 x 17 and want to put in a 110" 16x9 screen and will have ambient light control. Going to purchase an oversized MDF sheet and would like to spray to get the best results. Will watch mainly movies and sports. Projector is an Infocus X9. I like the ease of mix of SILVER but would like to get the forum's opinions. Thanks in advance

The X9 is a very bright PJ. If S-I-L-V-E-R is to be considered for such a small screen (...I know 110"
) and a high lumen PJ, then using the Low Lamp mode would be more than advisable...it would be a prerequisite.

If that is accommodated, then few if any DIY Screen paint applications will afford you the combination of rich, deep Colors and Blacks as well as bright, luminous Whites, as S-I-L-V-E-R can provide.

All on "Low Lamp" mode...no less.
